Time

It's been almost 9 months that our son has been sober. It doesn't seem like a long time, and yet seems like an eternity.

Sober one day at a time.

I listened to an AA speaker a while ago, in Malibu and he said all he had to do is not have a drink between the time he awoke and when he fell asleep; the rest was easy.


Our son is still growing in his sobriety and embracing all that life can offer him. Meetings and sober friends are now a staple in his life. He will finish school soon, and start college in the fall. We are looking forward to his license being reinstated and his legal problems resolving, completely. Everyday he realizes he is happy in the moment, and that is all that really matters.
